WOK has announced the release of its new vintage multi-effect plug-in, CromFX.
CromFX features 4 chorus variations (modelled after vintage circuits), 3 phaser types, and the choice between 2 delays, of which one is simulating a tape delay. Two of the phasers and two of the delays are synced to host tempo. The main focus lies on the reproduction of the sonic instabilities of the old hardware.
MeldaProduction has announced that it has released two new plug-ins – MFlanger and MMultiBandFlanger – and updated all its existing effect plug-ins, fixing some problems with Mac OS and Win64 and adding some new features, such as ABCD morphing.
MFlanger is free for non-commercial use or can be purchased for a minimum donation of €16 (which will also license all other “free” MP plug-ins for commercial use). MMultiBandFlanger costs €30 but is currently available cheaper via MP’s “50% February quick discount” offer – €16 at the time of posting this news item. It is free for owners of MTotalBundle and MCreativeBundle.
MMultiBandFlanger is a powerful multiband flanger with adjustable shape.
Features:
1-6 fully configurable independent bands built on a perfectly transparent crossover with fully adjustable limits and input gains. Includes peak meters for all bands and the master.
Continuously adjustable oscillator shape: every oscillator is defined by a mix of predefined oscillator shapes, envelopes from the MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), and a step-sequencer.
4 global modulators: in each instance you can have up to 4 modulation full-featured LFOs that can modulate any parameter including other modulators. This way you can make the sound move in time, be less static and more interesting.
Full randomization: using a single button you can generate completely new settings. By clicking the button you can walk through the billions of possible settings and find the best one for you.
MIDI controllers with MIDI learn: you can map any parameter to any MIDI controller or MIDI keyboard and control it realtime or record and automate it.
Sinc interpolation and high-quality upsampling: this plugin implements advanced technologies to provide the best audio quality.
Automatic synchronization to host tempo: every oscillator (including modulators) in the plug-in can automatically synchronize to the host providing maximally natural sound not offending other tracks.
Fully automatable depth.
Global preset management: using a title button you can save your settings, which are shared on the computer, so you can easily access them in another songs.

Christian Budde has released his Barberpole Flanger where the sweep of the flanged sound seems to move in only one direction, either up or down, infinitely, instead of sweeping back-and-forth. Features:
Warbler is at heart a vibrato effect, with additional controls that allow chorus/flange/delay type effects, as well as quite unusual hybrid sounds that aren’t easily categorised.
Changes in Warbler v1.1.0
All-new factory presets.
MIDI and OSC control and scripting.
Revamped GUI, with text value displays under the knobs.
