RedAmption is a versatile and powerful compressor suited for many different tasks. It is designed to respond as a analog compressor would do. It also has four saturation/ distortion modes.

Arctican releases Linux versions of “The Pilgrim” and “The Function”

Arctican have announced the release of Native Linux 32-bit and 64-bit VST and standalone versions of The Pilgrim and The Function.

The Pilgrim is a filter ideal for both live and studio situations. It has a high-pass and low-pass filter programmed into one dial, and allows a seamless sweep between the two. It works similar to the ‘Pioneer DJM’ mixers, albeit with a little extra functionality: a wet/dry dial which can also be used as a basic equaliser/shelf filter. The frequency pass range is from 60Hz (lowpass) to 19kHz (highpass).

The Function can manipulate a stereo signal giving complete control over the output. Each channel (left & right) can be manipulated in many different ways. Togu Audio Line updates TAL-Filter-2 to v1.20

Togu Audio Line has updated TAL-Filter-2, a free filter effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.

TAL-Filter-2 is a host synced filter module with different filter types, panorama and volume modulation possibilities. The device includes all 4x oversampled TAL-NoiseMaker filters: LP 24 dB, LP 18dB, LP 12dB, LP 6dB, HP 12 dB, BP 12dB, N 12 dB. Its possible to saturate / distort the input signal by raising the input volume with the input control (only if you use a filter as modulation type).
