The RS124 Compressor plug-in provides authentic emulations of the valve compressors that were introduced in 1960 and in constant use at the Abbey Road Studios throughout the decade. This is the sound of Abbey Road ’60s recordings. Their warm, creamy sonic personality and unique features such as the ‘HOLD’ function made them the compressor of choice for recording, mixing and mastering. Each unit was hand-built and exclusive to Abbey Road Studios and are still in use at the studios today.

Meters that analyse the incoming audio signal, the amount of compression, and the audio out signal.
PSP has announced the release of a huge upgrade of PSP VintageWarmer2 to version 2.5 (actually 2.5.1). Not only did they add compatibility with hosts running in 64-bit mode on Windows and Mac OS X but they added a new Warmer to the bundle.
The new addition is the PSP MicroWarmer which includes the same sound quality and flexibility as its big siblings, but with a simplified single-band interface and low latency performance optimized for use on individual tracks. The new fully operational 14 days demo is available now.
Changes in v2.5.1:
PSP MicroWarmer – performance slightly improved.
Bug fixes
Doubled “Left” meter labels fixed to “Left” and “Right”
Weird MicroWarmer behaviour whenever short audio buffers used – fixed.
All Warmers’ meters’ limit to 0VU/0dBFS fixed.
PSP MicroWarmer – one of channels in the unlinked mode reacted to both input channels.
PSP VintageWarmer is a high-quality digital simulation of an analog-style, a single or multi band compressor/limiter. It combines warm analog sound with a straightforward user interface, and comes with a rich library of presets. The plug-in processor is highly flexible and can be used for both single and multi-band compression, as well as brick-wall limiting. This makes it an essential tool for mixing and mastering engineers.
